Tree Planting on Independence Day

The Local Government Unit of Bugasong joins the whole country in celebrating the 121st Philippine Independence.

The Department Heads and Municipal Employees of LGU - Bugasong, together with the Philippine National Police headed by Police Major Frankie A. Gatila and some members of the Bureau of Fire Protection - Bugasong went to Lamudyong Hills at Sitio Uruyan, Barangay Ilaya, this Municipality for a Tree Planting activity.


This kind of activity, aside from the efforts made by the Department of Agriculture, has been a yearly practice of the Local Government Unit of Bugasong every Independence Day Celebration to help keep the mountainous area of Bugasong green.

After the said activity at Sitio Uruyan, the group went back to the Municipal Hall for a Flag Raising Ceremony and followed by a wreath-laying activity at the monuments of Dr. Jose P. Rizal and Andres Bonifacio.
