Proclamation of Winning Candidates

The Board of Canvassers of the Commission on Elections, after receiving the results from the last Precinct coming from Barangay Tagudtud North, Bugasong, Antique, proceeded to the proclamation of the winning candidates in the recently concluded National and Local Elections.

The Board, thru a resolution, ruled that the winner in the position of the Municipal Mayor, be proclaimed despite the opposition of the other party, citing several instances.


The following were declared winners in the above-mentioned elections: Municipal Mayor - Hon. John Lloyd M. Pacete, Municipal Vice Mayor - Hon. Renante S. Dava, Sangguniang Bayan Members: Hon. Casimira S. dela Cruz, Hon. Susan V. Escote, Hon. Edsel James A. Capendit, Hon. Jennifer Rose A. Tatoy, Hon. Roberto V. Fruto, Jr., Hon. Manuel S. dela Cruz, Jr. and Hon. Lea Agnes V. Pediangco.

Hon. Breccio M. Ostan and Hon. Geraldine P. Pesayco who shared the eighth position with the same number of votes in the total of 7,264 apiece, will be resolved on May 19, 2019 at 10:00 o'clock in the morning at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall.

Dr. Thea Belle Magallanes - Pacete, the first lady of the Municipality and the better-half of Hon. John Lloyd M. Pacete, joined the winning candidates during the pictorials to represent the latter.
